Join the Worship Band
To join the worship band you will have to meet certain minimum requirements and pass an audition. See the requirements audition details below.
Audition Requirements
All audition participants will be expected to play/sing a worship song of their choice and sight read a new song. Your skill may also be tested through appropriate exercises (for example, playing scales, singing harmony or playing a certain “lick”).
Vocals

Has a Christian testimony

Has previous experience singing in a group (choir, worship team, band)

Can sing harmony parts
Keys

Can play from a chord chart (knows chord symbols) or is good at reading standard music and is willing to learn to read chords

Can play common scales and arpeggios
Electric Guitar

Can play basic chords smoothly and in tempo

Can play from a chord chart

Plays with a natural rhythm

Understands basic guitar tones and effects

Understands power chords
Acoustic Guitar

Can play basic chords smoothly and in tempo

Bass Guitar

Can make changes consistently and smoothly
Drums

Can play basic drum patterns consistently and confidently
